Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On December 6, 2019, Tractor Supply Company (the “Company”) reported on a Current Report on Form 8-K that the Company intended to increase the size of its Board of Directors (the “Board”) and appoint Harry A. Lawton III, the Company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, to the Board.
Effective January 13, 2020, the Board has increased the size of the Board from nine to ten and appointed Mr. Lawton as a member of the Board to serve a term ending on the date of the Company’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
