Bank Chicago announces plans to host Hispanic Heritage Month
events and activities throughout Chicagoland and NW Indiana.
The finale of the bank's month-long activity will feature a live
version of Univision TV's popular dancing competition reality TV
show, "Mira Quien
Baila" ("Look Who's Dancing") on Sunday, October 16, at the Paramount Theatre in
Aurora. Free tickets are available
by visiting any local Fifth Third Bank in the Chicagoland area.
Among the celebrities competing include Ozzie Guillen, Jr., Aurellano Salgado (La Que Buena),
Nicole Suarez (Univision) and
"Mau Mau" (La Kalle &
Telefutura), with special guest host Jackie Guerrido (Mira Quien Baila) and a private musical
performance by Fanny Lu.
On Thursday, October 13, Fifth
Third Bank will host a private VIP reception to recognize the
continuous and outstanding contributions of business and non-profit
leaders in the Latino community. This year's honorees include
Luisa Echeverria (Univision
Chicago), Julian Posada
(Chicago Fire) and Juan Rangel (UNO). Fifth Third Bank
will award three $5,300 scholarships
in the name of each honoree to area high school students.
Fifth Third Bank will also host local events that will feature
games and prizes, giveaways, and personal appearances by Univision
Radio personalities:
