5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Codexis, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDXS) today
announced Wesley J. Bolsen has been
named Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this new
position, Mr. Bolsen will have responsibility for the company's
corporate marketing and communications. He will report to
Alan Shaw, Ph.D., President and
Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Bolsen is a widely recognized marketing executive in the
global biofuels industry. He joins Codexis from Coskata, where he
most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer. While at Coskata
from 2007-2011, he also held the senior management positions of
Vice President, Government Affairs and Vice President, Business
Development. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer for
ICM, Inc., and a Senior Consultant for McKinsey & Co.
He was named the Top CMO in the United
States in 2011 by the Chief Marketing Officer Institute, and
is an executive board member of the Renewable Fuels Association, a
former board member of the Advanced Biofuels Association and a
founding member of the Advanced Ethanol Council. Mr. Bolsen holds a
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from
the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
