U.S. Bank is hosting a free community shred event on Saturday,
June 12, and Saturday, June 19, both from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Powered by Cintas Corporation, the leader in secure document
management services, these events will take place at the U.S. Bank
Lunken Operations Center located at 5056 Wooster Pike on June 12,
and the U.S. Bank Springdale Branch at 11751 Princeton Road on June
19. Local bank customers and community members are encouraged to
bring any confidential documents containing personal information
such as their name, Social Security number or financial
information, to be securely destroyed by Cintas.
“Protecting our customers' confidential information receives the
highest priority at U.S. Bank,” said Richard Rushing, privacy
officer at U.S. Bank. “We are excited to team up with Cintas, our
secure shred vendor, to provide our customers and the local
community with a secure and convenient method to dispose of paper
documents containing personal information.”
During the events, anyone can bring their documents to the two
locations and have them shredded by an on-site, certified Cintas
employee. From drop-off to destruction, all documents will be
constantly monitored and protected. Further, all of the shredded
documents will be recycled into secondary paper products to reduce
waste and impact on the environment. In doing so, the community
will save trees, energy and gallons of water while reducing green
house gas emissions.
“We are pleased to partner with U.S. Bank to provide the
community with a shred event held to the highest standards of
security,” said Kyle Kinzie, global accounts manager, Cintas. “This
event will bring awareness of proper document management and
protect community members from becoming victims of identity
theft.”
Cintas provides cost-effective document shredding, storage and
imaging programs. Its services are designed to provide businesses
with data privacy and security, compliance with regulatory
requirements and greater control and access to information.
