Best Co. has increased the Financial Size Category (FSC) of the Company to IX, which designates companies whose adjusted policyholder surplus totals between $250 million and $500 million. AMERISAFE was previously in FSC VIII, which designates companies with an adjusted policyholder surplus between $100 million and $250 million. The FSC increase applies to AMERISAFE and its wholly owned insurance subsidiaries: American Interstate Insurance Company, Silver Oak Casualty, Inc. and American Interstate Insurance Company of Texas.
