WINS "SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE AWARD" FROM KONAMI

CHICAGO - October 9, 2013 - Wells-Gardner Electronics Corporation (NYSE MKT: WGA) announced today that it participated in the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) from September 24 - 26, 2013 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. G2E is the leading international gaming trade show and conference organized by the American Gaming Association.

During the event Wells-Gardner introduced a number of new products developed by its Engineering/R&D department. Among the new products introduced, various flexible design solutions for "Button Deck" applications were displayed for the Company's gaming customers. This year's offerings were focused on various sizes, technologies and varying cost points and quick development times.  New this year was "Discrete Touch Zone," ITO based technology with projected capacitive touch capability. This solution provides up to 16 customer defined touch-zone areas which lowers the overall solution over a full multi-touch button deck.  Supporting both WinX and Linux, this product can be custom designed to have additional touch zones, various surface coatings and finishes, as well as optically bonded two piece glass or single glass construction ranging from 1.1 to 3.0 mm in thickness.

Wells-Gardner also introduced several new LCD models offering "high brightness" capabilities. Several models were displayed in side-by-side comparisons running high-resolution images versus current models; 24-inch models with a typical 250 nit brightness against a 1000 nit enhanced panel, and 23-inch models with a typical 250 nit brightness against a 550 nit enhanced panel. Event participants were interested in these enhanced panels for attracting the attention of customers with interesting content, color and images that pop off the screen attracting casino customers to the game or specific service being offered. Wells-Gardner's new LCD products make the experience that much more noticeable.

During the event, Wells-Gardner was awarded the "Supplier Performance Award" from Konami Gaming for fiscal year 2012/13 for performance in quality, on-time delivery and customer service as determined by key Konami personnel representing Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Accounting. Konami Gaming is one of the largest providers of slot machines and casino management systems for the global gaming market.

Tony Spier, chairman and chief executive officer of Wells-Gardner, said, "Global Gaming Expo 2013 was a very good show for Wells-Gardner and American Gaming and Electronics. We are very pleased with the reaction from event participants to our new product offerings. We had a number of people discussing with our representatives various potential applications of Button Deck solutions for their particular technologies and casino venues. This was a promising start for these new products and we look forward to working with many of these potential customers to embed our new technology."

"We were also gratified to be recognized by Konami Gaming, one of the leaders in our industry, as a trusted and efficient vendor partner that helps them to sustain their position within the gaming industry. This is a strong affirmation of the quality and innovation of our products and components and of the commitment of the entire Wells-Gardner team to provide a customer service experience unmatched in the industry. We are proud of our affiliation with Konami Gaming."
