Telenor ASA (TEL.OS), the Norwegian telecom operator, Monday
said its Bangladesh subsidiary Grameenphone Ltd. (GP.DH)reported
lower revenue and operating profit in the fourth quarter 2012
compared to the same period a year ago.
MAIN FACTS:
-4Q revenue was NOK1.58 billion, down from NOK1.71 billion.
-4Q Ebitda was NOK856 million, down from NOK930 million.
-4Q Ebit was NOK588 million, down from NOK674 million.
-During the quarter the number of subscriptions decreased by
933,000 to 40.02 million.
