                     The Wigmore Group plc (the "Company")

                    Result of AGM and Further re Acquisition


At the Company's AGM held earlier today, all resolutions proposed were passed.

Certain final conditions relating to the completion of the acquisition of D F
Blanchard (Salisbury) Limited are awaiting satisfaction and a further
announcement regarding completion will be made shortly. As a result, admission
to trading on AIM of the Open Offer shares and the consideration shares will not
take place tomorrow.
