SCREEN PLC ("Screen" or "the Company") - Correction

Screen made an announcement on 8 April 1998 relating to the appointment of
Martin John Brayshaw as a director of the Company with effect from 13 January
1998.  This announcement  indicated that Mr Brayshaw was a past director in
Bishopscourt (Bayswater) Management Company Limited and Winggrade Limited.  
Mr Brayshaw was a past company secretary of both these companies but was not a
director of either at any time.  Accordingly,  these directorships should not
have been included in the announcement.
