                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Company announces the appointment of Iain Cockburn as a non-executive
director. Currently, Iain is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Knowledge
Support Systems Ltd ("KSS"), a leading provider of pricing and revenue
management systems for the retail and petroleum sectors and a wholly owned
subsidiary of AIM-quoted Eurovestech plc. Iain joined KSS as Finance Director in
September 2000, six months after the flotation of KSS on the London Stock
Exchange. Iain took over as Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and led the company
through a strategic review that culminated in the sale of the business to
Eurovestech plc in June 2003. KSS has approximately 85 employees between its
operations in Manchester, UK and Florham Park, New Jersey.

From 1997 to 2000, Iain served as CFO for the Automotive Diagnostics division of
GenRad Inc., a NYSE quoted provider of test and diagnostic products and services
to electronics and automotive OEM's. Between 1992 and 1997 he held senior
financial appointments with various operating businesses of Courtaulds plc in
London, Los Angeles and Houston.

Iain will be appointed chairman of the Company's Audit Committee. Prior to
working for Couratulds plc, Iain spent five years training and working with
Price Waterhouse in its Edinburgh and Luxembourg offices. He is a Member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds an honours degree in
Accountancy and Computer Science.

In addition to a strong background in accounting and finance, Iain brings
extensive software and technology business experience at both operating and
strategic levels. Iain also brings significant experience and understanding of
developing business in the US and other international markets.

The Board has determined that Iain Cockburn is independent. Although he served
with David Lee on the Board of Knowledge Support Systems Group plc between
September 2000 and June 2003, he has no other past or current connection or
relationship with David Lee or any other Board member of Tadpole.

Iain will also be appointed to the Company's Remuneration Committee, which is to
be chaired by Peter Bondar.
