                              UPDATE ON FINANCING 
 
 
On 5 May 2010 the Company announced that it had received confirmation of bank 
credit committee approval, subject to formal documentation, for a two year 
extension of its loan facility with Allied Irish Banks due to expire in June 
2010. The Board is now pleased to announce that Sovereign has today executed 
formal documentation for this facility.
