                                 Joint Venture



SPG Media Group plc ("SPG") announces that it has entered into a 50:50 joint
venture with Electronic Media Limited ("emedia") to launch an international 
'requested' e-bulletin service to SPG Media's international executive customers.



The joint venture will focus on specific vertical markets where SPG has a strong
presence, market expertise and established key decision maker relationships.
The business will be launched on Monday 4th January 2005 initially launching
services to the Pharmaceutical, Defence and Oil & Gas industries with plans for
expansion into Construction, Packaging and Transport, all markets where SPG has
established products or services.

expertise and proven technology coupled to our extensive senior executive
customer base and data assets presents an exciting opportunity for both
companies".

Emedia, formed in 1999, is a privately owned UK business with a successful
background in publishing e-bulletins to UK companies.
