               RAM Investment Group plc ("RAM" or "the Company")

                         Placing of new Ordinary Shares

The Board of RAM announces that the Company has completed a placing of 608,556
new Ordinary Shares in RAM at 76p per share. The new Ordinary Shares, the
subject of the placing, represent 10.71 per cent of RAM's enlarged issued share
capital. The net proceeds of the placing, being approximately # 460,000 will be
applied in supporting certain of RAM's current projects and providing working
capital for the Group as a whole.

Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the 608,556 new
Ordinary Shares in RAM to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that
Admission will become effective and that trading in the new Ordinary Shares on
AIM will commence on 10 February 2005.
