                            Directors' shareholdings


MKM Group plc (the "Company") announces that, on 4 July 2006, the Company
received notification that, on the same date, Sound Financial plc, a company of
which David Mond (a non-executive director of the Company) is a director and
shareholder, sold 600,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the capital of the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 5.125p per share.  Following this
transaction,  Sound Financial is interested in 10,400,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 23.77 % of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The Company also announces that, on 4 July, Matthew Toynton, Group Finance
Director, acquired 200,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 5.125p per share and
Mike Squires, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 400,000 Ordinary
Shares at the same price.
