                              Result of Open Offer



The Board of MKM Group plc ("MKM" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the
result of the open offer of 3,954,545 new ordinary shares of 0.5p each ("
Ordinary Shares") at 5p per Ordinary Share to raise up to #197,727 ("the Open
Offer").



Valid applications were received from Qualifying Shareholders for 474,520 new
Ordinary Shares.  These applications have been allotted in full.



In addition, valid applications were received from Qualifying Shareholders for
1,613,929 new Ordinary Shares in excess of their basic entitlements.  These
applications have also been allotted in full.



W.H. Ireland Limited ("W.H. Ireland") is to use its reasonable endeavours to
procure subscribers for the balance of 1,866,096 Ordinary Shares not taken-up
under the Open Offer as W.H. Ireland can procure placees for prior to the
admission of the new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM.



Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be issued pursuant to
the Open Offer and the Placing to be admitted to trading on AIM.  It is expected
that dealings will commence on 5  September 2005.

for the Company shown by shareholders.  With the funding now in place, the
Company can now move forward to take advantage of the opportunities in the
market."
