                      Appointment of Group Finance Director 
Low & Bonar PLC (the "Group"), the international performance materials group, is 
pleased to announce that it has appointed Mike Holt as Group Finance Director. 
Mike has been Group Finance Director of Vp plc, the specialist equipment rental 
group, since 2004.  Prior to that, he held a number of senior financial 
positions with Rolls-Royce Group plc within the UK, the USA and Hong Kong.  Mike 
will join the Group on 22 November 2010.
