Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 552 ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to be admitted
to the Official List.


It is expected admission will be granted on 1 November 2006 and trading will
commence on 2 November 2006.


These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
the Luminar plc Sharesave Scheme.


These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
