KIMBERLEY DIAMOND COMPANY NL (the Company) (AIM: KDC)

The Company advises that it has today issued 1,000,000 ordinary fully paid
shares following the receipt of a notice to exercise unlisted options at $0.45
each (expiring 24 August 2008). Following this allotment the Company's issued
capital is as follows.
