KEY APPOINTMENTS

interactive investor international plc ("Interactive Investor" or "the
Company"), the UK's leading online Internet personal financial services
portal, is delighted to announce today the Board appointment of Anthony
Rawlinson as Chief Commercial Officer of the Company with immediate effect.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Suttie as
Marketing Director.

In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, Anthony will be responsible for the
Sales, Financial Services, and Corporate Development divisions.   He will have
responsibility for driving the Company's efforts to enhance and develop
existing sources of revenue in addition to new product development.  As
Marketing Director, Robert will assume overall responsibility for the customer
experience on the site and the Company's ability to derive revenues from its
strong user base.  Additional responsibilities include the editorial and
customer relationship management functions.

Anthony Rawlinson, (36), has been a non-executive director of Interactive
Investor since March 2000.  Since June 1999, he has been Strategic Director of
Hollinger Telegraph New Media Ltd. and managed the corporate venturing
department for the Hollinger Group in the UK.  Prior to joining Hollinger
Telegraph, he spent the previous 14 years working in the financial services
industry, during which time he worked in venture capital and investment
banking for N.M. Rothschild & Sons in London and Jardine Fleming Holdings in
South-East Asia.  Anthony becomes a non-executive director of Hollinger
Telegraph New Media Ltd.

Robert Suttie, (42), joins from AXA, where his roles over the past five years
include E-Business Director, Information Systems Development Director and Head
of Customer Service Development.  Before joining AXA, he spent nine years with
McKinsey.  In addition, as a director of the life insurance consortium ORIGO,
he has championed common trading and security approaches in the electronic
market place.
