                 Uma Thurman to star in 'Eloise in Paris' Film



18 February, 2007. LONDON, UK:  HandMade plc, the international rights and film
company, is pleased to announce today that Uma Thurman has taken the role as 
"Nanny" in "Eloise in Paris", a live action feature film which has been adapted
from the children's novel series.

HandMade owns the worldwide rights to Eloise, the iconic and classic American
children's literary character who lives in The Plaza Hotel with her English
nanny.

HandMade has previously produced two Eloise television films for The Wonderful
World of Disney, staring Julie Andrews as the Nanny.  Production of 'Eloise in
Paris' will begin in July 2008 in London, Paris and New York.

Charles Shyer, who will direct the production for HandMade Films and who adapted
the 'Nanny' role with Uma Thurman in mind, is now searching for a young actress
to play the Eloise character.

Development of the follow-up film 'Eloise Goes to Hollywood' has already
started.

The budget for the film is $40 million.  HandMade's film sales company, HandMade
Films International, are selling worldwide rights to the film which will
generate approximately $6m in sales commissions in addition to generating
licensing and producer fees of in excess of $2.5m in the next twelve months.
HandMade has already received $1m of this payment.

David Ravden, Chief Executive Officer of HandMade plc, said: "I am delighted

Uma Thurman has proven herself to be one of the most versatile young actresses
by playing a variety of compelling characters. In 1996, Thurman received an
Academy Award nomination for Quentin Tarantino's critically lauded PULP FICTION,
in which she played Mia Wallace, a sexy and comedic mobster's wife. Thurman also
appeared in THE TRUTH ABOUT CATS AND DOGS, BATMAN & ROBIN, GATTACA, opposite
