Nighthawk Energy plc ("Nighthawk" or "the Company") (AIM: HAWK) announces that
it received notification on 17 March 2008 that on that day, Dr. Roger Norwich, a
non-executive director of Nighthawk, purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p
each at a price of 61p per share.  Dr. Norwich now holds 4,559,000 ordinary
shares representing 2.24 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
