The following announcement and notification is made in accordance with the EU Market Abuse Regulation (No 596/2014).

On 18 October 2018, the Group received notification that Adrian Ewer (person discharging managerial responsibility, Non-Executive Director), acquired a total of eight ordinary shares of 10 pence in The Go-Ahead Group plc. Six shares were acquired on 12 December 2017 and two shares were acquired on 11 May 2018 as a result of the reinvestment of dividend income for the Group's full-year and interim dividends paid on 24 November 2017 and 20 April 2018 respectively.
