The Directors of Gooch & Housego today announce that following
Bill Schneiders decision to step down as President of its US
subsidiary Optronics Laboratories Inc., he has resigned as a
Director of Gooch & Housego.

Steve Denomme, former Vice President of Finance and Production
has   succeeded  Bill  Schneider  as  President  of  Optronics
Laboratories Inc.
