                    Disclosure of Major Interest In Shares

Clipper Windpower Plc ("the Company") has been notified on 2 October 2006, that
as of 28 September 2006, BP International Limited has an interest in 3,800,000
10p ordinary shares of Clipper Windpower Plc - Reg S.  This represents 3.60% of
the outstanding share capital of the Company following admission of 9,504,852
new Company shares trading on the AIM effective 4 October 2006.

In addition, under an Option Agreement dated 14 July 2006, BP International
Limited has a continuing interest in the Company by virtue of rights to
subscribe in the capital of the Company including the right to subscribe for
9,596,681 10p ordinary shares of the share capital of the Company.

The Company has been notified on 2 October 2006, that as of 28 September 2006,
Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership, on behalf of client funds that it
manages, controls 6,618,017 10p ordinary shares of Clipper Windpower Plc - Reg
S.  This represents 6.27% of the outstanding share capital of the Company
following admission of 9,504,852 new Company shares trading on the AIM effective
4 October 2006.

The Company has been notified on 2 October 2006, that as of 28 September 2006,
Lehman Brothers International (Europe) had an interest in 7,115,848 10p ordinary
shares of Clipper Windpower Plc - Reg S.  This represents 6.74% of the
outstanding share capital of the Company following admission of 9,504,852 new
Company shares trading on the AIM effective 4 October 2006.

The Company has been notified on 4 October 2006, that as of 3 October 2006,
Fidelity International Limited (FIL) had an interest in 10,465,423 10p ordinary
shares of Clipper Windpower Plc - Reg S.  This represents 9.92% of the
outstanding share capital of the Company following admission of 9,504,852 new
Company shares trading on the AIM effective 4 October 2006.
