                Retirement of Mr. Leon Fattal

Cedar Group announces the proposed retirement of Mr Leon Fattal
with  effect  from  the interim results statement  in  November
1998.

Mr  Fattal,  one of the founders of the Company, has  for  some
time   indicated  his  intention  to  retire  from  the  Board.
Following  the appointment of Mr Michael Harrison  as  Managing
Director in July, 1997, he agreed to continue until 1998  as  a
Director,  and  will  continue to act as a  consultant  to  the
Company.   The  Board  wishes  to  thank  Mr  Fattal  for   his
considerable contribution over the years to the development  of
the Group.
