Central African Gold Plc, the AIM listed gold mining and exploration company,
confirms that the Annual Report and Accounts have been posted to shareholders
and are available from the registered office of the Company, 18 Upper Brook
Street, London W1K 7PU.



The financial information contained in the announcement of preliminary results
released yesterday does not constitute statutory financial statements within the
meaning of s240 Companies Act 1985. However, the 2005 financial information has
been extracted from the audited statutory financial statements for the financial
year ended 31 December 2005, which will be delivered to the Registrar of
Companies, and the 2004 financial information has been extracted from the
audited statutory financial statements for the financial period ended 31
December 2004 which have been filed with the Registrar of Companies. The 2004
and 2005 statutory financial statements contained unqualified audit opinions
which did not contain statements under section 237 (2) or (3) Companies Act
1985. The preliminary announcement was approved by the Board on 28 June 2006.
