Directorate and Management Change

The Board of Charteris plc announces that Patrick Carter, Finance Director, has informed the Company that he will resign as a director and leave the Board on 30 November 2012.

Patrick joined the Company in May 2007 as Finance Director and has driven significant improvement in the internal management reporting and forecasting systems to ensure that they meet the developing needs of our business. In recent years, he has also overseen the cost reduction programmes that have been a necessary response to market conditions. Patrick is leaving us take up a finance director role within the renewable energy sector.

Julie Merry will take over the finance director's responsibilities. She will be appointed Company Secretary but will not be a director of the Company. Julie is a Chartered Accountant who trained with PWC and has held a number of finance roles, most recently as Finance Director of Zircadian Limited, a provider of software and consultancy services to the NHS.
