        Transactions in shares of Mariella Burani Fashion Group ("MBFG")


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on the 21
September 2007 it purchased ordinary shares in MBFG, amounting to a purchase of
54,708 ordinary shares in MBFG at a weighted average price of Euro22.70,
representing a purchase consideration of Euro1.24 million.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 16,286,506 ordinary
shares of MBFG, representing 54.5% of the total outstanding shares of MBFG.
