        Transactions in shares of Mariella Burani Fashion Group ("MBFG")


Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that in the
period between the dates of 14 August 2007 and 13 September 2007 it has
purchased and sold ordinary shares in MBFG, amounting to a net purchase of
251,027 ordinary shares in MBFG at a weighted average net price of Euro23.78,
representing a net purchase consideration of approximately Euro 6.0 million.

As a result of these transactions, BDH currently holds 16,031,798 ordinary
shares of MBFG and has slightly increased its stake by approximately 0.9% in
MBFG to 53.6% of the total outstanding shares of MBFG, taking advantage of
recent weaknesses which have affected the financial markets.
