Global Minerals share purchase 
Bateman Engineering has been informed by Global Minerals B.V. that a related 
party to Global Minerals B.V, has on 23 March 2009 purchased an additional 
3,163,064 shares in the Company at an average price of 4p per share. 
The aggregate shareholding of Global Minerals B.V. and its associated companies 
in Bateman has therefore increased from 30,239,548 shares to 33,402,612 (76.42% 
of the total number of shares in issue). 
On the basis that Global Minerals has indicated that it and its associated 
companies shall vote in favour of the resolution to delist at the forthcoming 
extraordinary general meeting of the Company to be held on 16 April 2008, Global 
Minerals and its associated companies together have the requisite votes to pass 
this resolution.
