                                  Aerobox plc

Aerobox plc announces the first commercial sales of the Aerobox and provides an
                       update on ongoing airline trials.

Following the end of a successful three month trial with Aer Lingus and Virgin
Atlantic, the first sales of the Aerobox have been achieved within the
timescales originally envisaged. Aer Lingus have placed an order for 100 units
with a future option to purchase a further 900 units during 2004, whilst Virgin
Atlantic have agreed to replace their entire stock of LD3 sized cargo and
baggage containers at their Gatwick base subject to detailed contract terms
being concluded.

Aerobox cargo and baggage containers continue to be trialled with other major
airlines around the world including NorthWest Airlines, Cathay Pacific,
Singapore Airlines, Varig, Sri Lankan Airlines and Unitpool who manage the ULDs
for 15 European and African Airlines. To date the Units have flown over 1,700
flight sectors and incurred zero panel damage in comparison to aluminium
containers which incur an average US$150 of repair costs for every 75 flight
sectors flown.

Robert Bushman, Chief Executive Officer of Aerobox, said:

"The results of our airline trials have exceeded even our best estimates for the
performance and reduction in repair costs for airlines. We believe the initial
sales of Aerobox containers to two of the worlds major airline brands indicates
that our new generation air container will gain wide acceptance throughout the
airline industry."

Aerobox expects to announce its results for the year to 31 December 2003 at end
of March 2004.
