Amiad announces that, at a Board meeting held on 12 December 2007, Mr Dan
Michael Falk was appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with
immediate effect. Mr Falk replaces Mr Ilan Ben-Gigi, who stepped down from the
Board on 11 December 2007.

From 1999 to 2000, Mr Falk, 62, was Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating
Officer of Sapiens International Corporation N.V. From 1985 to 1999, Mr Falk
served in various positions in Orbotech Systems Ltd., including Chief Financial
Officer and Executive Vice President. From 1973 to 1985, he served in several
executive positions in Israel Discount Bank.

Mr Falk serves on the board of directors of Orbotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: ORBK), Nice
Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: NICE) (TASE: NICE), Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ORA),
Nova Measuring Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: NVMI), ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd.
(NASDAQ: CKSW), Attunity Ltd. (NASDAQ: ATTU), Jacada Ltd. (NASDAQ: JCDA), Orad
Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. (FWB: OHT) (AIM: OHT), Dmatek Ltd. (LSE: DTK), Advanced
Technology Ltd. (FWB: VSJ) and Plastopil Hazorea Company Ltd. (TASE: PPIL). He
is also a director of the following private companies: Poalim Ventures 1 Ltd,
Tasiot Gazit, VCortex Ltd. and Dan Falk Management Ltd.

Mr Falk was also previously a director of Netafim Ltd., Visionix Ltd., Medcon
Ltd., Dor Chemicals Ltd., Ormat Industries Ltd, CompVision Ltd. and Ramdor Ltd.

Mr Falk holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science and a
Master's degree in Business Administration from The Hebrew University of
Jerusalem.

The Board of Amiad regards Mr Falk as being an independent non-executive
director for the purposes of the Combined Code on Corporate Governance. Mr Falk
does not hold any shares in the Company.

Avi Heifetz, Chairman of Amiad, said: "We are delighted that Dan has joined the
Board. We believe that his extensive knowledge and experience will provide
important guidance and support to the Company".

There are no further details specified by paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the
AIM Rules for Companies to be disclosed in respect of Mr Falk.

The Board of Amiad has also agreed to nominate Mr Tal Yeshua in place of Mr
Yosef Rokah as a non-executive director of the Company at a shareholders'
meeting to be convened at a date to be determined in the early part of 2008. On
29 August 2007, the Company announced Mr Rokah's intention to leave the Board at
a date to be determined and it is intended that his departure will become
effective at the conclusion of the proposed shareholders' meeting. Once
arrangements for the shareholders' meeting have been finalised, a circular to
shareholders will be issued.
