RocketStream, Inc., a subsidiary of Voyant International
Corporation (OTCBB: VOYT) and a developer of technologies and
solutions to accelerate digital content delivery over Internet
Protocol (IP) networks, today announced the availability of a
software development kit (SDK) to help software developers embed
RocketStream file transfer acceleration into their software.
With the new SDK, developers' applications can transfer files
using the two powerful RocketStream Protocols. These protocols
ensure that data continues to flow rapidly, even in the presence of
high network latency. As a result, throughputs up to 200 times
faster than traditional TCP can be achieved.
The RocketStream protocols are fully "reliable," meaning that
all data transferred is checked for errors or dropped packets. Any
corrupted or missing packets are re-sent, ensuring that all
received files are identical to their originals. The SDK also
provides capabilities for on-the-fly payload encryption and
compression, making it easy to build versatile, secure, reliable
and user-friendly applications Powered by RocketStream(TM).
"Given today's rich media content and high bandwidth
requirements, IP acceleration technology is more vital than ever,"
explained David Price, vice president of the MPEG Industry Forum, a
global advocacy body consolidating the direction of the digital
video industry. "An SDK permits creative uses of RocketStream's
capabilities in a variety of applications, essentially paving the
way for new adopters."
"The RocketStream Protocols are designed to streamline data
transfer, regardless of file size," said Steffen Koehler, chief
marketing officer at Voyant and RocketStream. "It represents both a
cost-effective and technically elegant solution, and the new SDK
helps to bring these qualities to third-party software and
hardware."
Available for the Windows, Linux, and Macintosh operating
systems, the RocketStream SDK is based on RocketStream Release 1.5.

speeds up to 200 times faster than traditional methods. The
powerful RocketStream Protocols overcome the detrimental effects of
network latency on file transfers and operate over any IP network
-- private line, VPN, or Internet -- regardless of whether the
physical medium is copper, fiber, satellite, or wireless.
RocketConnect(TM) provides all manner of Internet Service Providers
-- dial-up or broadband, wireline or wireless -- with low-cost,
software-based solutions to maximize the value of their access
