VSRV is Bringing VOIP and Cell Technologies to Emerging Markets in the Middle East, Asia and Beyond
With Cell phones being used in almost every part of the world today it is easy to see that there is enormous market potential and revenue prospect. Competition for these customers is fierce. London based VoiceServe has managed to carve out its own niche market with worldwide prepaid Cell services and VoIP technology that is extremely cost effective.
The 13 year telecommunication expert who leads the company is President Alexander Ellison. He has managed one of Belgium’s premier auction houses and served as an independent marketer for a number of publicly traded companies. Mr. Ellison is a Co-Founder of the company and brings a large amount of experience to the firm.
Currently the company is in its initial growth stage using targeted Marketing strategies to get the word out about its products and services. The company is also utilizing a strategic acquisitions strategy, where they recently acquired VOIPSwitch to complement their VOIP services for $3 million in US dollars. This helps enhance the company’s VOIP capabilities and projected VOIP revenues are expected to be $7 million in 2008.
Revenues continue to rise as the company grows its market bases. Last quarter revenue was up $34,000 from the first quarter. Since the company is in its initial growth stages they showed a net loss for the quarter, but as this starts to pay off, the company’s Net Income is anticipated to be in the black. The company has a large potential market with recurring revenue streams, promising to be a winner within the telecommunications industry.

VSRV Offers VOIP with Voiceout, Looks to Capture Share of Market’s 40% Expected 5 Year Growth Rate
Voiceserve offers VOIP that enables two registered users to talk free anywhere in the world. All that is needed is an internet connection, Voiceserves downloadable software, and a microphone. These calls are also secure with end-to-end encryption. It does not matter where one is located, as long as both users are registered Voiceserve users, the call is free.
If one caller is not a registered user they offer Voiceout, which enables registered users to make national and international calls at highly reduced rates. These calls can be made to other VOIP users or any registered phone number worldwide. The top 20 destinations can be called for $1.25 a minute; rates can be calculated on the company’s website. They claim that their rates even beat local networks national and mobile rates many times. Rates also do not change at Peak or Off/Peak times giving consumers pricing consistency.
There is no long term contract and billing is straightforward and simple. Creating an account is as simple as registering online and downloading the required software.
They offer a number of add-on services as well. VOIP users can have voicemail, hold, call waiting, and forwarding as well as a number of other services. Adding funds to the account is also fast and easy, once logged into the user profile payments are made through PayPal.
This positions Voiceserve well in the VOIP market that is expected to reach 37 million users by the year 2011. Last year VOIP usage increased 125% showing the rate of adoption is increasing as people become familiar with the service. The company has the product and industry experience necessary to capture the accelerated growth of this emerging market.

VSRV Gives Business Travelers Alternative to Roaming Charges
As the global economy becomes increasingly interconnected, overseas business trips have become the norm for many. Those who have traveled abroad know that sending or receiving calls when roaming internationally can leave one with a hefty cell phone bill. This is because of the use of local SIM cards which routes to the local country network then to the origin network. Consequently the local SIM provider pays the country extremely high fees that are then passed onto the consumer.
What makes the VoiceSIM so great is that instead of being a one leg process it is a two leg process. This means when a call is made with the VoiceSIM, a SMS text is sent to the Voice SIM network then the Voiceserve exchange simultaneously calls the destination and SIM card owner within 10-15 seconds which cuts out the need to go through the local network.
By cutting out the local countries, network users can save up to 85% on calls to and from most countries. The number can be a local UK number or up to 35 different countries. Rates vary by country but inbound calls to the SIM range from $.20 on up to $6.00. Outbound calls are generally under a $1 depending on the origin and the destination and can be calculated on Voiceserves website.
SIM’s cost $50 and come filled with the equivalent talk time. They can be filled over the phone or online through email or directly from the handset. Balances and statements can also be seen online or over the phone.
Voiceserve was founded in 2002 by a group of Telecom professionals. They offer individuals, businesses and call shops a wide variety of services. These include: VoiceSIM cards, VOIP, Virtual Numbers, Callback, Web Callback, and Call Forwarding. VSRV - Cheaper Communications Costs, More Business Done
Often times the business traveler doesn’t understand his company’s reluctance to send him off to visit clients face to face. It’s certainly not because it’s not effective, it’s usually based upon cost considerations. Take Cell phone communications for example. When the global business man uses his cell phone in another country, he’s besieged with cost structures that frighten even the most liberal CFO’s. Roaming charges, as the phone is transferred from network to network, accumulate. In a short period of time, significant charges are built up, charges that can be so daunting as to hinder the users use of the device.
Industry studies have shown that pressure from corporate CFO’s to keep costs down have impaired some sales forces’ use of Cell phones. Sales calls that aren’t considered to be of the highest probability of being successful aren’t being made. But a call not made, can never be successful, and Sales managers are constantly quarreling with Financial Officers and “cost cops”. But now Voiceserve is determined to change that.
Voiceserve is a UK based company and is a provider of low-cost Pay as You Go and prepaid cell phone services via the GSM Network to customers primarily in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Products already Developed include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) airtime minutes bundled with an array of interesting optional features, which can include virtual numbers, direct dial, web callback, call forwarding, and “no roaming.” Customers can purchase local virtual numbers, from over 29 countries, which allows them to have a “virtual presence” in many foreign Countries without the costs involved in maintaining a branch in those areas. But also, with local numbers in as many as 50 different cities in a single country, Customers can expand their virtual presence across a wider spectrum of physical areas.
What makes Voiceserve confident that they can help those Chief financial officers feel better about global travel? Voiceserve is in the process of launching its Voice SIM that will dramatically reduce mobile phone bills for international travelers. How? Because users will be exclusively on the Voiceserve network and will not incur roaming rates through other networks. Access to Voiceserve’s network allows customers savings on average of up to 85% on international calls. Consider this for a moment.
The roaming costs incurred by the international traveler are quite exorbitant. Voiceserve’s technology bypasses the roaming on other Networks offered by the phone, and allows access to their own VOIP based network, saving the caller huge sums of money. This is how it’s done. The customer buys “airtime” that’s preloaded on a SIM. He inserts the SIM in his phone and goes on his way. When a call is made, the Voiceserve SIM changes the initial call into a text message that goes to Voiceserve’s network. The network recognizes the message, then routes the call via VOIP, and within ten seconds, the call is going through; but at significantly reduced rates.
With their recently announced acquisition of VoipSwitch, a recognized leader in the deployment of VOIP technologies, VoiceServe will enjoy the benefits of an in house, fully scalable VOIP network solution, complete with customizable billing options already imbedded. This will enable VoiceServe to better integrate the VOIP services into its 4 main streams of revenue generation.
With its acquisition of VOIPSwitch, VoiceServe solidifies it’s revenue streams via it’s “Call shop” business, it’s wholesale international minutes business, it’s residential and Business VOIP minutes business, and now the mobile SIM connectivity. With new satellite offices planned for the Middle East and Africa, additional offices are planned for Belgium, Holland, Israel, South Africa, Switzerland and the United States. VoiceServe is positioning itself to be a unique and successful provider in the mobile and VOIP telecom space.
With VoiceServe’s approach to mobile pre-purchased VOIP SIM’s, financial officers no longer have to fear exorbitant mobile bills, and Sales managers can send their sales forces out without the overhang of fear from cost backlash. This is a technology and solution that’s right for this time and VoiceServe stands to benefit along with the businesses it helps.
