ADRs End Lower, Porsche and RWE Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed lower
Thursday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
fell 1.3% to 120.65. The European index decreased 0.5% to 113.33,
the Asian index fell 2.6% to 143.99, the Latin American index
dropped 1.3% to 172.48 and the emerging markets index decreased
2.6% to 247.87.
Porsche Automobil Holding SE and RWE AG were among the companies
with ADRs that traded actively.
ADRs of Porsche Automobil fell 13% after Porsche AG's shares
ended flat following the pricing of its initial public offering
Wednesday. Porsche AG's IPO was Europe's largest in over a
decade.
ADRs of RWE fell 2.1% after the company said it will restart
three power plant units that were previously on standby amid
efforts to cut down on the use of natural-gas electricity
generation.
ADRs of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC fell 2.9% after the
company said it has reactivated its booking website, app and
systems following a cybersecurity breach first disclosed on Sept.
