OMV AG (OMV.VI) said Wednesday that it is extending its partnership with petrochemicals producer Borealis at the industrial site in Schwechat, Austria.

Under the partnership, the Austrian energy company and Borealis aim to advance the chemical recycling of post-consumer plastics by the exploration of potential synergies, it said.

The company didn't didn't disclose the financial details of the deal extension.
