Wi-Fi service to traveling public throughout Fresno Yosemite
International Airport WARWICK, R.I., May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- ICOA, Inc., (BULLETIN BOARD: ICOA) , today announced that its
subsidiary, Airport Network Solutions, has begun offering public
Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the Fresno Yosemite International

travelers, airport administration and operations, and airport
tenants, such as airlines and rental car companies for a variety of
applications. ANS is a neutral-host Wi-Fi provider and deploys
systems that are compatible with multiple Internet service
subscription plans. "We are excited to have launched this valuable
passenger service throughout FYI. Our team managed to get this
network installed and operational very quickly. We have been

significant usage at this early juncture. Clearly, there is a large
component of business travelers going through FYI that are Wi-Fi
savvy," said Rick Schiffmann, CEO of Airport Network Solutions.
"Additionally, we have received interest from quite a few airport
based businesses and we anticipate that there will be significant
private side use of this network over time." "Airports are a key
vertical market for ICOA. We feel that our continued success in not
only winning airport contracts, but also in fulfilling on these
contracts by quickly and efficiently deploying networks serves as
validation of ICOA's vertically focused business model. ICOA's base
of long-term airport contracts continues to grow. Today, ICOA
operates Internet access kiosks in two airport venues totaling over
30 million passengers per year and full Wi-Fi networks in four
airports representing over 13 million passengers per year," said
ICOA's CEO, George Strouthopoulos. "Due to their high concentration
laptop-toting frequent business travelers, airports are the
beachfront property of Wi-Fi and we feel that our continued success
in developing this beachfront property bodes well for ICOA as we
grow into other targeted vertical markets." About ICOA and ANS
