South African market, today announced that Robert Klein, Country CEO South Africa, is
scheduled to be a speaker at "Payments – Southern African
Conference and Exhibition." The conference will take place on
August 2 - 4, 2011, at the Emperors
Palace, Kempton Park in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The three day conference will feature over 30 speakers, 10
panelists and case studies focusing on the challenges and
opportunities in the Southern African Development Community
"payment industry" landscape. Topics will include payment
innovation, payment instruments such as cash, checks, cards and
mobile, payment integration and regulation, compliance and risk.
Mr. Klein has been invited to lead the discussion on the topic -
"Prepaid Cards – a global phenomenon."
Mr. Klein was appointed to his executive management role in
South Africa in July 2010 and prior to that, beginning in
October 2009, Mr. Klein was engaged
as a consultant to review the mobile banking platforms to be
integrated into FNDS3000's system. His remit quickly extended to
key account management and customer service. Prior to FNDS3000, Mr.
Klein served as the Executive Director of International Sports
Media, Ltd., a digital media and content provider where he managed
key industry partnerships in North
America, Europe and
Australasia. He also spent six years with the Union of European
Football Associations, the European governing body of the sport,
where he was responsible for creating and selling new media sports
rights for the organization in territories across the globe.
