Telefonica Deutschland, Deutsche Telekom Expand Fixed-Network Agreement

Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG said Wednesday that it has
agreed with Deutsche Telekom AG to expand their fixed-network
cooperation.
The telecommunication companies signed a ten-year contingent
contract, which also includes Telefonica Deutschland offering
Telekom's fiber-to-the-home access services to customers.
The agreement is subject to regulatory approval and should be
effective as of spring next year, Telefonica Deutschland said.
