Dana Resources (OTCBB: DANR), a US-based precious and base metals exploration company with advanced stage gold properties in Peru, is pleased to announce the acquisition of an exploration phase copper-lead-zinc project.

The Locroja copper-lead-zinc project is a copper porphyry prospect covering 494 acres. The project is located in Southern Peru in the region of Huancavelica in the province of Huaytara and is easily accessible via the Pan American South Highway. The geology consists of volcanic and intrusive rocks which present a polymetallic occurrence of silver, lead and zinc.

The Locroja project is surrounded by properties and mines owned by Minas Buenaventura, Minera Misky Mayo (Brazilian miner CVRD's exploration entity in Peru), Teck Cominco and Barrick.
