Truli Media Group, Inc. (OTCQB: TRLI), parent company of Truli, a
global faith-based and family friendly media content platform and
social community hub, today announced that it has launched a new
Spanish channel, Truli Español. Judith Barbieri, who holds 20 years
of experience working in the Hispanic Christian world, will serve
as the channel's Managing Director.
"Considering that a majority of Latin Americans are Christians,
over two-thirds of Latinos in the US are Catholic, and the number
of Latino evangelicals in the US is quickly rising, our goal with
Truli Español is to cultivate a major presence in Spanish speaking
churches across the US as well as Latin America," said Michael Jay
Solomon, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Truli. "Judith is the ideal
person to lead us in attaining this goal, as she has a long,
successful track record working in the Hispanic Christian world,
including in management, marketing and publishing capacities."
Mrs. Barbieri is also the owner of Outboard Marketing, which
specializes in external marketing and consulting for Christian
companies and ministries. However, she will now devote all of her
time to Truli Espanol. Prior to Outboard, she served as Publishing
Coordinator and Marketing Director for Spanish House - Editorial
Unilit, a global Christian Spanish Publishing company. There she
was responsible for the creation, management, and development of
the company's marketing plan through advertising campaigns, content
distribution in TBN/Enlace TV plus local and international radio
stations, and enabling of new media platforms. Ms. Barbieri also
directed and developed the content for www.clubunilit.com and
participated in trade shows in Miami and Mexico. As Publishing
Coordinator at Spanish House - Editorial Unilit, she was
responsible for the development and quality control of production,
and was a member of the Acquisition Team as well as the Managing
Editor for Enfoque and Expolit magazines.
Prior to Spanish House - Editorial Unilit, Ms. Barbieri served
as a coordinator for Luis Palau Association's Special Project,
Expoministerios, which was general trade show held at the Cintermex
Convetion Center in Monterrey, Mexico. Ms. Barbieri received her BA
from Colegio Manuel Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
