Feb. 27, 2013 /CNW/ - F.V.Ramsoondar, President and Chief Executive
Officer of United Protection Security Group Inc. ("UPSG" or the
"Company"), (TSX-V: UZZ) is pleased to announce the following:
The Company has been awarded a new contract
through a request for proposal (RFP) process with the Government of
Alberta to service a location in
Fort McMurray. The contract is for
a one-year period with two one-year options to continue service
deliver. The total value of the contract over the three-year period
is estimated at $1,000,000.
The scope of service deliver is focused on
access control and fire watch. The Company will be using its video
analytics mounted on a patrol vehicle to identify temperature
variance at the location. The smart video analytics will trigger a
security warning via text messaging, video verification and email
notification for temperature change within two degrees of a set
seasonal temperature level.
