ROSCAN MINERALS CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:ROS) ("RosCan") announces that it has
agreed to terminate its agreement with High River Gold Mines Ltd. ("High River")
to acquire High River's 50% interest in the Prognoz Silver Project announced on
May 28, 2008. In connection with the termination Jacob & Company has agreed to
terminate its engagement with RosCan. RosCan is assessing its alternatives with
a view to maximizing shareholder value.
