Peat Resources Limited (PRL) (TSX VENTURE:PET) has showcased the benefits of its
peat fuel product to potential customers at the 2011 South China Low Carbon
Fair, which ran from November 3-5, 2011 in Guangzhou, China. Global Perspectives
LLC represented PRL at the conference and engaged in dialogue with Chinese
consumers of low-carbon fuel, as well as key government officials, to solicit
interest in pelletized peat fuel as an alternative to coal. The event was
attended by thousands of representatives from various industry groups from
around the world who gathered to share ideas and products that can contribute
toward China's ambitious green energy goals.

Of the hundreds of the exhibitors present at the event, PRL was one of sixteen
companies that were invited to present their product to the Chinese media at the
Release Meeting on the Information of Domestic and Overseas New Low-Carbon
Products, Technology Projects and Buyers Purchase. Following the public
presentation, PRL was invited by provincial news outlet, Guangzhou TV, to give a
candid interview on how peat fuel's low-carbon impact over the product life
cycle and its high-energy output can benefit China.

PRL was successful in garnering attention for their peat fuel project,
celebrated with a public discussion with Guangzhou Vice Mayor Chen Mingde and
Mr. Zeng Kaizhang, President of the China Council for the Promotion of
International Trade (Guangzhou Committee). The meeting was covered by dozens of
news outlets including Sohu, China's leading internet news portal; Phoenix
Media, one of Hong Kong's top news services; and Guangzhou TV.

PRL and Global Perspectives will now begin follow-up discussions with numerous
parties that demonstrated interest in peat fuel with the goal of securing
long-term fuel supply contracts with Chinese power producers. Previously shipped
quantities of peat test-samples will be made available for testing in Chinese
facilities to confirm to potential consumers that peat pellets are a viable
alternative fuel for use in coal-fired power plants and other industrial
facilities.

PRL was formed to develop, produce and market peat fuel - a sustainable
bio-energy resource. The company is active in the Canadian provinces of Ontario
and Newfoundland & Labrador where it holds certain rights to large peatland
areas. Its innovative wet harvesting process for production of peat fuel pellets
is demonstrated at a pilot plant in Stephenville (Newfoundland), located close
to deepwater ports suitable for international shipping.
