(TSX-V: NSP)(OTCQB: NSPDF) is pleased to announce that further to its LOI with CROP Infrastructure Inc.  (CSE: CROP) (OTC: CRXPF) (Frankfurt: 2FR) (“CROP” or the “Company”) (previously announced on August 14th 2018) CROP will now utilize Naturally Splendid’s proprietary HempOmega™ powder, created from microencapsulated hemp seed oil, in its “CannaDrink” functional beverage line currently being developed.

Naturally Splendid CEO Mr. Douglas Mason states, “We are pleased to be working with CROP to create quality, white-labelled hemp products for the Hempire brand as well as providing our proprietary HempOmega™ ingredient for CROP’s innovative CannaDrink functional soft drink line. CannaDrink is formulated to deliver superior omega nutrition, by utilizing NSE’s proprietary HempOmega™ and provides ‘first mover advantage’ for NSE and CROP to formulate cannabis formulated beverages and edibles as HempOmega™ has been approved for product fortification without the concern or restrictions of cannabinoid formulated beverages and edibles.”

CannaDrink will now be available in all jurisdictions that currently do not allow for cannabinoid infused beverages, such as CBD and/or THC. HempOmega™ does not contain any CBD and/or THC and will not be subject to restrictive regulations. HempOmega™ is NSE’s 100% owned, proprietary technology that microencapsulates hemp seed oil into superior bioavailable formats. HempOmega™ is a high-quality, sustainable omega 3 fatty acid alternative ingredient to fish oil. Due to its unique powder format, HempOmega™ solves the formulation challenge manufacturers face when trying to add oil to existing products and has proven to increase the bioavailability of omega fatty acids.
