of its cultivation license, LiveWell Canada Inc. ("LiveWell"
or the "Company"), (TSXV: LVWL) (OTC: LXLLF) is expanding
its growing capabilities and talent, and has appointed a master
grower and quality assurance and compliance manager with deep roots
in the cannabis and cultivation sectors.
Gary Sidhu, Master
Grower
Mr. Sidhu has more than 20 years experience in
greenhouse cultivation, and most recently was Director of
Production with a large-scale, Health Canada-licensed cannabis
growing operation. Mr. Sidhu is well-practiced in the development
and production of high-quality finished cannabis product produced
in greenhouses within the guidelines and directions of Access to
Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). Throughout his
career, Mr. Sidhu has continuously sought out better production and
growing methods, and been involved in numerous horticultural and
floricultural research trials. He has published works in
North America and India. He has a Master of Science in
Horticulture.
Sajjad Ahmad, Quality
Assurance and Compliance Manager
Mr. Ahmad brings
credentials in the fields of molecular biology, plant breeding and
genetics, and agronomy, as well as experience developing and
leading quality assurance at two LPs of medical cannabis to
LiveWell Canada. He has also worked at DuPont Pioneer Hi-Bred, and
FMC. His responsibilities will include ensuring that all LiveWell
growing and cultivation procedures result in consistent,
pharma-quality cannabis products. Mr. Ahmad has two Master of
Science degrees, in Plant Breeding and Genetics from McGill University, and in Agronomy from the
Agricultural University, Peshawar,
Pakistan. He has researched and taught at McGill and Queens
University and has numerous published papers on crops and
agriculture. He brings a scientist's mind and a team player spirit
to his role at LiveWell.
