Golden Chalice Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GCR) (the "Company") is pleased to
announce Dr. Trygve Hoy has been appointed as Vice President of Exploration.


Dr. Hoy brings extensive knowledge and experience to both the Company's
exploration and management teams. He received his BSc in geology from the
University of British Columbia, his MSc (geology) from Carleton University,
Ottawa, and his Doctorate of Geology from Queens University, Ontario. He joined
the British Columbia Department of Mines in 1974 and spent 28 years there as a
research economic geologist, mainly concentrating on deposits and their setting
in the southeastern part of the province. He has published numerous research
papers and many geological maps covering the more highly prospective exploration
belts of the province. Dr. Hoy has won several awards, including the Provincial
Medal and Julian Boldy awards. He has been an exploration consultant since 2002,
concentrating most of his work in southern British Columbia, but including
contracts in the Canadian Arctic Islands, Ontario, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
He is a Professional Engineer and a member of the Society of Economic
Geologists. 


Dr. Hoy will continue to work closely with Kevin Montgomery, P.Geo., project
geologist for the Langmuir nickel project, as critical decisions are made in
regards to the advancement of both the Lamgmuir Nickel and Radio Hill Iron-Ore
Projects, as well as other early-stage exploration properties.


The Company also announces Peter Caldbick, PGeo, has resigned as VP of
Exploration to pursue other business opportunities. The Board of Directors
wishes to thank Mr. Caldbick for his time and dedication to the Company and
wishes him the best in all future endeavors. 


ABOUT GOLDEN CHALICE

On May 19, 2010, the Company announced it had completed a NI 43-101 resource
estimate for its flagship Langmuir Nickel Project where 2007 drilling
intersected 72 meters of 1.14% nickel. The Langmuir Project is easily accessible
by road and is near existing mining infrastructure in the Timmins camp, host to
numerous world-class gold and base metal deposits. The Company owns 100% of the
property which covers more than 30 km of favorable stratigraphy with potential
for hosting Kambalda-style deposits.
