C6 Energy develops systems to improve the environment by converting waste materials and bituminous coal to produce energy and other usable products. Under the terms of the agreement, which were approved by the Boards of both companies yesterday, C6 Energy will combine its engineering and design expertise in the area of electricity with Global Resource's technology for a specific client with global operations. The customer will initially use GRC's technology to extract energy from old tires.
