ESKAY MINING CORP. ("Eskay" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ESK)(FRANKFURT:878
985)(BERLIN:878 985) wishes to announce that the following persons were elected
as directors at the annual meeting of shareholders held on October 4, 2010: Hugh
M. (Mac) Balkam, Robert Myhill, J. Gordon McMehen and Doug Chalmers. Mr. John
McDonald, who had previously served as a director, had decided not to stand for
re-election as a director in order to pursue other opportunities. The Company
wishes to thank Mr. McDonald for his service and wishes him well in his future
endeavours.


In addition, shareholders confirmed the appointment of McGovern Hurley
Cunningham LLP as auditors; approved the continuance of the Company into Ontario
and the form of Articles of Continuance; and approved a new by-law to be
implemented once the continuance has been completed. Shareholders also approved
the adoption of a new 10% rolling stock option plan. Articles of Continuance and
the Company's New General By-Law will be filed on SEDAR once the process of the
Continuance is completed.


The Company reports the previously announced geological exploration and drilling
program at the SIB property has been completed in the field. A full report on
the findings including assays will follow shortly. Work on a 3D geophysical
model of the total property is continuing with the data gained this field
season.
