Transportation Group Inc. (TSXV: BUS; OTC PINK: GWTNF) –
October 3, 2016: ("Grande West" or
the "Company"), a Canadian manufacturer of heavy-duty mid-sized
transit buses for sale in Canada
and the United-States, is pleased
to announce that it has received an additional order from the
City of Edmonton totalling
approximately $3.8 million CAD.
The order is for ten (10) 30 foot Vicinity buses for 2017
delivery. This is in addition to the City's initial order for six
(6) 30 foot buses announced September 8,
2016, bringing the order total to $6.1 million CAD. The contract has forecasted
quantities (firm and options) for up to forty-five (45) buses,
allows the City to increase the number of buses as required and
extend the contract for up to 5 years.
Current total firm orders for 2017 delivery are for one hundred
fifty-nine (159) buses valued at over $54
million CAD. Firm orders and options for 2018-2020 delivery
are currently at ninety (90) buses.
